SOLIDARITY LAND

ENGLISH SUB VERSION
"Solidarity Landscape" presents an innovative vision born from the unique interaction between international landscape research and twenty years of social planning experience. The concept of "Solidarity Landscape" emerged from the work of Professor Deni Ruggeri, who has explored themes of landscape and democratic spaces in various international academic contexts, currently at the University of Maryland’s Department of Landscape Architecture. This research has been combined with the extensive experience of Consorzio FA and its affiliated cooperatives, which have been developing social services for vulnerable groups—children, families, fragile adults, and people with disabilities. Their efforts culminated in 2018 with the creation of the Solidarity Village of Lurano.
The documentary retraces the key milestones of the project, offering a rich territorial and environmental context. It highlights how the collaboration between local initiatives and global research can foster sustainable social innovation while enhancing the landscape and community well-being.
